My name is Susan Hikel and I live in the Austin, Texas area. I bought my Bio-Mat in June 2010 after reading and researching about the Bio-Mat off and on for about a year. A doctor had recommended it for detoxification and back problems in his email newsletters and I just had a gut feeling it would help me.

I was diagnosed with degenerated discs in my neck which made it difficult to function because of the pain as the day wore on at work and especially sleeping was difficult. When I turned 49, I was also unusually tired most of the time and had difficulty getting out of bed and getting anything accomplished. I had to keep lying down for a rest after cleaning the house, etc...working was an effort but yet blood tests came up negative that anything was seriously wrong.

Finding an energy medicine practitioner was a god-send and she helped me to get my energies moving in the correct patterns, taught me how to help myself with exercises etc... to get my engine running in the morning, and alleviate the pain somewhat but I would have to stop and do the exercises throughout the day to maintain. Nonetheless, because of the positive results I received, I decided to study energy medicine for the next few years and am now blessed to help others help themselves using their own God-given life force to heal.  

The Bio-mat was timely and a great, great blessing! I use it for myself as well as others with my healing practice. Although I had never tried it, I knew in my spirit, it was for me. After using the Bio-Mat for a week, my vitality returned. I had pain relief in my neck. Forty-Five minutes on the mat would keep me going pain free all day. Soon, I could sleep on my side again! My chiropractor wanted to know what happened as it was easier for him to adjust me and it was lasting longer and I wasn't crawling in there in pain. I introduced the BioMat and he was very impressed and is considering it for his office.

I now use the Bio-Mat when I come home from work from my part-time job to rejuvenate and unwind. If it was a stressful day and my neck bothers me, I put it on the higher heat settings and the deep warmth soothes my neck and I feel like a new woman. The comforting heat soothes and penetrates and warms my whole body and stays with me for many hours. I also use it in the morning before my day. This is where I go to meditate. The amethyst crystals seem to lift my frequency and bring me into a higher consciousness and uplift my spirit. 

I also sleep on the Bio-mat on the lower temps to fill my body with negative ions during the night and to keep the infrared light energy humming in my body during the day. In the morning, I can literally jump out of bed. If I miss a few days, my body literally hungers for the light energetics and negative ions. Using this mat on a continual basis has helped me detoxify and stay healthy. A nice surprise was that I went from size 16 to size 10 in a few months. Drinking ionized water also helps to keep my body alkalized and hydrated. Another problem solved was the chronic constipation with the help of the water and Bio-mat.  

I have not been sick since I started using the Bio-Mat. The Far Infrared light raises the core temperature of the body, which in turn stimulates the immune system.
